On July 30, KIJ Language Academy Tokyo held a speech contest.
Students who have not yet been able to enter Japan in this situation were online. Meanwhile, the students who were actually studying at school were divided into several small-group classrooms in accordance with coronavirus safety protocols. Everyone was excited and ready to have fun.
There was show by the students that everyone enjoyed: shows ranged from guitar-playing, songs, to photo slideshows. After being cautious and limiting their activities for so long, everyone was finally smiling and having fun. Just by looking at the situation, we teachers were delighted from the bottom of our hearts. We hope that the day will soon come that all our students can once again get the true and full study-abroad experience.
